Live Virtual RCA Concert Event
Starting Line-up + Sponsors Announced
Saturday, October 10
If you haven’t marked your calendars for the RCA’s first one-of-a-kind live virtual concert, broadcast to your homes from the Wall Street Theater — do it now! You now have plans for Saturday, October 10th at 7:30 p.m.
Local favorites, The Samples and Christian Rottner are booked, but that’s not all! The summer concert series team is booking additional bands to add to the lineup. Stay tuned on Instagram (@rowaytoncivicassociation) and Facebook for updates! The award-winning comic, Eddie Brill, who has partnered with the RCA to produce Comedy Night for years, will emcee. Eddie has been named “Outstanding Male Stand-Up Comic in NYC” three times and plans to bring an amazing show to homes across Rowayton.
Our town, spirit, and love of great music and comedy can’t be squashed during this pandemic. This is also an evening to raise money for the RCA to continue to do the work that it does — produce popular events for the whole family throughout the year and support local schools and nonprofits. We are so grateful to those of you who have already pledged your support.
Speaking of gratitude, the only reason this event is possible is because of the generosity and commitment to community that our sponsors have shown. Thank you to the following sponsors. We encourage everyone in Rowayton to return the love to these local businesses.
Event sponsors include:
ARC Sound Stage Lighting, All Seasons Marine Works, Eaton Partners, Fairfield County Bank, The Gatt Group, Ellie, Bobby, and Jack Griffin, Land of Sea, RAND Insurance, Rowayton Wine Shop, The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood, Upper Crust Bakery & Café, and William Raveis.
This night would not be possible without the generosity of The Wall Street Theater, Gene Morreli of ARC Sound Stage Lighting, and Dani Snow, designer of Rowayton Unwind’s logo. We will kindly be asking you to support the RCA while listening to great music from the comfort of your own homes — or backyard viewing parties across town (have fun and get creative; remember to social distance!). Special prizes will be given to the viewing party that raises the most money that evening!
Let’s make this a night to remember!

The generosity and support of our residents is the driving force behind the RCA’s ability to produce our established 20 yearly events such as River Ramble, Summer Music Festival and Comedy Night.
What many people might be less aware of is the impact the RCA has on local schools and nonprofit organizations through generous grants. Read more and donate today.
Rowayton Football Club
Rowayton Football Club Fall 2020 Registration is now open for all Divisions! This 10 week program will begin on September 12th, 2020.

Thank you for your patience as we plan for a safe and fun fall soccer season!
Rowayton Civic Association’s Rowayton Football Club is a recreational community soccer program for children 4 – 15 years old created by Rowayton families to facilitate learning and an early love for soccer. The program attracts more than 400 players each year and runs for 10 weeks from early September through November.
We have four age groups: 4-5 year olds, 6-7 year olds, 8-11 year olds, and middle school. While games are competitive, teaching soccer basics and sportsmanship are our priorities. We partner with local professional coaching organization, SoccerViza to provide practices twice a week and parent volunteer coaches run games on Saturdays.
We are a volunteer-based, non-profit organization, sponsored by the Rowayton Civic Association (RCA). We are always looking for parents willing to assist with the league through joining the Board, managing referees, helping with field maintenance or coaching teams – please get involved!
If you are like us, your head is spinning from the reality of a spring, unlike any we have seen before. We are collectively grieving a loss of normalcy, of security, of connectedness, and, of course, life. What all of us on the Rowayton Civic Association know is that often, times of crisis bring about altruism, resilience, and solidarity in ourselves and in others.
With the Rowayton for Rowayton initiative, our hope is to create awareness about neighbors and local organizations that are either in need or showing extraordinary altruism, support them in whatever ways we can, and, where possible, create new opportunities for Rowaytonites to give back.
