RCA Lights Up
Sunday, Nov. 27th, 4:30–6:00pm
Downtown Rowayton will come alive with twinkling lights at the annual holiday town lighting. Festivities begin at Pinkney Park with caroling led by Brien McMahon’s award-winning Holiday Chamber Choir at 5:00pm and the lighting of the Christmas trees at dusk. Afterward, visit the RHS model train show in Pinkney house, and stroll down Rowayton Avenue to view the window decorations created by local merchants. Then enjoy a warm beverage and snack compliments of the Rowayton Market. Rowayton Avenue will be blocked off between Wilson Avenue and the Fire House, so please come early if you’re driving. For more information, contact Rich Van Steen.

(Rain date: Sunday, December 11)
Come To the Light! The annual Rowayton nativity Pageant has found a permanent home! Join us again in Pinkney Park on Saturday, December 10 at 6:00pm. Featuring local performers, clergy and live animals, this family event is a wonderful way to rediscover the joy of Christmas with your neighbors and friends.
Participants are needed as angels and shepherds (grades 3-5), wise men (grades 6-8) and townspeople (all ages). Help is also needed for the set-up and breakdown of the Nativity Pageant. Set-up starts at 8:00am on Saturday, December 10 at Pinkney Park. Bring your children and help erect the stage by putting up trees, banging nails, and bonding with fellow Rowaytonites. Donuts and coffee provided!
For more information or to sign up to participate, contact Laura Czegledi. The Pageant always needs volunteers to help make it a success. Come one, Come all and Come to the Light!
